隨著雲端應用的發展，越來越多人選擇放棄用網絡Service 的Client Application，取而代之的就是直接在網上用。比如Mozilla 的Thunderbird，直接在Google Gmail 用就好了；例如Microsoft Office Outlook 的Calendar ，Google Calendar 提供的功能應付普通使用綽綽有餘。不但如此，如果你有Smart Phone的話，還可以直接用手機的App 來同步電話的Calendar。但畢竟這世界還有我這種Mobile Phone （Not smart）的死忠用家，而且沒有任何上網的功能，就只能用手機附帶的Software Suite來同步電話的日曆。就像我現在用的Nokia 6129 Classic，同步的話，就要用到Nokia Software Suite。要同步日曆，唯一的選擇就是用Microsoft Office Outlook 和 Nokia Software Suite，不能透過Google Calendar 直接下載到Software Suite，然後放到電話裡。
用Google Sync？
那就是說，我一定要把Google Calendar 同步到Outlook 才行。最普遍的做法是用Google Sync 來做到同步，不過只能同步Google Calendar 裡的Primary Calendar （就只有一個Calendar可以給同步）。這方法原本就是挺方便的，但偏偏在Windows 8 Release Preview 就不能用，可能還沒支援。在這種情況下，唯有另找方法——直接在Outlook 設定同步Google Calendar……
不用插件，直接同步！
1. Primary Calendar
把你的Google Calendar 的全部Calendars 放在同一個Calendar 裡，這個Calendar 只專門用來同步的。（這個Calendar 必須是Primary Calendar，那就是說當你啟用Google Calendar 就已經存在的Calendar）
2. Copy ICAL 的私人鏈接
3. Subscribe to Google Calendar
就這樣三步搞定，完全不用Google Sync。每一次同步，就像Google Sync，啟動軟件就會自動同步的～
Nokia Software Suite的設定
在Sync 的Settings 裡選擇自動同步Outlook Calendar，然後選擇同步的Folder，就可以自動跟Outlook (Google Calendar)同步了～

Google Calendar Sync：Google Calendar Sync 下載連結將於 2012 年 12 月 14 日移除。現有的使用者可繼續使用該服務與 Microsoft Outlook 行事曆保持同步，但 Google 將於 2012 年 12 月 14 日起停止支援這項服務。Google Apps for Business、Google Apps for Education 和 Google Apps for Government 客戶仍可使用 Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook®。

在2014年8月之前，我覺得Google Calendar Sync還不錯用。但是在2014年8月Google停止服務以後，我開始找一個替代方案，我找到一個叫做EVO Collaborator for Outlook的Outlook外掛程式(Add-in)。安裝使用之後，在Configure Profile那裏發現它不只同步Gmail，原來還有支持iCloud、Yahoo、fruux等等老外的服務，連中國內地的QQ、小米、163、263、等等的雲端服務，同時也支援ownCloud、Synology等等自架雲端服務。大家可以試試看。在ithome有一個Gmail的教學，大家可以去看看。ITHome教學 http://download.ithome.com.tw/article/index/id/2312

this method cannot support update the calender in outlook for google calenders.
Sorry for misleading title. You are right, this tutorial is only about synchronising Google Calendar to your Office Outlook. If you want 2-way synchronisation, you can use 【Google Calendar Sync】 yesteryear, but it has been officially shut down. Now, you may try 【Google App Sync】, which can be used on Google Outlook 32bit, 64bit version not yet tested (I can’t find a 64bit version indeed).
